Steam iron needs water, and preferably boiled water or pure water without impurities. If it is general tap water, impurities inside may block the vents and affect the effect. In the process of adding water, pay attention to the amount of water, not too little, it is easy to evaporate in a short time. Be careful when pouring water into the water inlet. Do not spill water on other parts of the iron to avoid electric shock.
According to the material of the clothes you want to iron, select the corresponding temperature range, and then start heating. Don't care about this step, otherwise the clothes may be scalded or burned.
During the heating process of the electric iron and during the intermittent ironing, the iron should be placed upright, and it should not be placed aside, as it is easy to burn the items directly in contact with the iron.
After the steam iron is used up, if there is residual water, either pour it out or continue to energize it until the water is boiled off. If the water is not evaporated, the water may leak out by itself, adhere to the bottom plate, and leave water stains, which is not good for the maintenance of the machine.
1. After the electric iron is energized and preheated to 100℃, cut off the power, apply a small amount of soda powder or decontamination powder to the char on the soleplate, wipe it back and forth with a clean cotton cloth, and the dirt can be removed.
2. After the iron is heated, wipe the stains on the surface of the iron with a damp cloth that has been wrung out.
3. If you find that the water in the water tank of the steam-jet electric iron is turbid, you can fill the water tank with half of white vinegar and water, heat for a few minutes, power off, and shake to clean. After washing, pour out the vinegar, wash it with water several times.
4. If white powder is found in the exhaust hole, use a needle to dredge and clean it. After cleaning, be sure to empty the remaining water in the water tank. If you find that it is not clean, you can start the electric iron to use up the excess water.
